Al Watanya for Industry & International Trade, a Lebanese manufacturer specialized in plastic packaging, nylon bags, disposable household products, and industrial packaging solutions, has been serving the local market since 2018.

Through the SoLR& Renewable Energy Fund, IM FNDNG supported the assessment and financing process for Al Watanya’s planned solar energy project at its Bar Elias facility in the Bekaa. The project includes a 551.8 kWp solar PV system coupled with 800 kWh of battery storage. Once implemented, the system is expected to cover approximately 35% of the facility’s electricity needs and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 589 tons per year.
