The AUB President’s Innovation Challenge (PIC) 2024 is an unparalleled regional competition where pioneers of innovation converge to shape the future. This year, 112 startups competed for a prize pool of $55,000 across diverse fields, including FinTech, HealthTech, Social Innovation, Sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, Chairman and CEO of IM, joined the jury panel for the 2024 President’s Innovation Challenge Final Pitching and Awards Ceremony, organized by the Talal and Madiha Zein AUB Innovation Park. Held on Thursday, November 28, at AUB Upper Campus, the event featured 10 innovative startups presenting their ideas and solutions. From these, jury members selected the three winners of the competition:

  • $30,000 for the best advanced-stage startup.
  • $15,000 for the most innovative early-stage startup idea.
  • $10,000 for the Chinyeh Hostler Award for Social Innovation.

The 2024 Innovation Challenge celebrated entrepreneurial spirit and forward-thinking solutions. In addition to the prizes, winners secured a spot in the Talal and Madiha Zein AUB Innovation Park (Zein AUB iPark) incubation and acceleration program.
