On June 23 & 24, 2022, the Hellenic International Business Angels Summit (HIBAS) brought together Business Angels, Venture Capital Funds, Policy Makers, Entrepreneurs, Accelerators, Seed Funds and Start-Ups from all over Europe and beyond to Athens, Greece.

The event was organized by the European Business Angels Network (EBAN), Enterprise Greece, and the Hellenic Business Angel Network (HeBAN). This summit gave an ideal platform for the Greek startup ecosystem to connect, exchange, network, listen to keynote speakers, attend panel discussions, and participate in start-up competitions with the overall intent to keep up and intensify the new strong beat pulsing in the Greek start-up ecosystem.

Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, Chairman & CEO of IM Fndng, was invited to participate in the Hellenic International Angel Investment Summit (HIBAS2022) as a speaker.

The goal of the summit was to promote networking, cross border relations and best practice sharing, all in a friendly atmosphere to incentivize meaningful connections. More than 150 angel investors from all over Europe, North America, Africa, and the Middle East participated in the Summit.

Nicolas Rouhana participated in the planned activities, all centered on sharing experiences and best practices developed in our network.
On June 23, Nicolas was a panel speaker during the session “Tips for mastering deal closing and syndication within BANs and cross-boundaries deals,” and also did a reverse-pitch exercise for portfolio company IN2 from Lebanon.
On June 24, Nicolas Rouhana was a panel speaker on “Investment models: Equity, Convertible loans, SAFE, revenue-based financing.”
