Kamkalima Reiterates its Commitment to Ensure that Learning Never Stops after Beirut Blast
Online learning has shown significant growth over the last decade, and since the COVID-19 outbreak, online learning has become more centric in people's lives. The pandemic has changed the way we teach and learn.
Today, the world is recognizing the power of remote learning. Students must get used to distance learning via digital platforms, and educators shifted to EdTech.

Lebanese families, which have been already hit by the economic crisis that has been worsened by the Covid-19 pandemic and the Beirut Blast, are finding that access to education for children in Lebanon is becoming more and more scarce.
Kamkalima, one of IM Capital’s portfolio companies under the USAID-funded Middle East and North Africa Investment Initiative (MENA II), is redefining the Arabic classroom by empowering teachers with superpowers and leading students towards educational success. In response to the Beirut blast, Kamkalima reiterated its commitment to ensure that learning never stops by creating free accounts on its platform for teachers and students at schools affected by the explosion.
Under IM Capital’s من_قلبي_دعم_لبيروت# relief initiative funded by USAID, Kamkalima was able to support 14 schools and 4,200 students.
