In partnership with IM Capital, the Lebanese League for Women in Business( LLWB) presented an event at BDD that included an introduction about LWAF by Corine Kiame, Investment Manager at IM Capital who also announced the cohort of LWAF investors for 2019 and the launching of pitches for this year. This initiative empowers women investors to invest in women-led startups in Lebanon. The Lebanese Women Angel Fund (LWAF) is a community of women angel investors with a mandate to serve women entrepreneurs by injecting smart money in early stage ventures, and managed by IM Capital.

The event also witnessed testimonials from existing LWAF angels and portfolio companies. The participants were potential investors and entrepreneurs interested by joining and / or pitching respectively.
