The EBAN Annual Congress is Europe’s largest and most recognized international business angel events, and a place to reconnect, reimagine, reinvest for investors and entrepreneurs alike.

The 2022 Congress was organized by EBAN, CorkBIC, and the InvestEU Portal, alongside a host of partners & sponsors. It was held on Wednesday, May 18 and Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Cork, Ireland, bringing together more than 300 Business Leaders; Early-Stage Investors; Business Angels; VCs; Entrepreneurs; Accelerators; Seed Funds, and Startups.

During the Gala Dinner, EBAN’s President Janne Jormalainen handed out a special recognition award to IM Fndng for its relentless commitment to growing the business angel community in Lebanon despite the current economic situation, and for being a strong entity investing in Lebanese startups. The award was received by Nicolas Rouhana, Chairman & CEO of IM Fndng.

Additionally, pitching competitions for Investor Ready Startups took place during the Congress. In2 and Fly-foot, IM Capital portfolio companies, joined the pitching competition at the EBAN Cork Annual Congress thanks to "The Next Society", an EU project that supports South Mediterranean innovators who develop local solutions with a global reach.
