IM Capital Participates in USAID’s M&E Basics and Principles Workshop
IM Capital attended BALADI CAP’s ‘Monitoring and Evaluation: Basics and Principles’ workshop on May 21, 2016 at Padova Hotel in Sin El Fil. The training was facilitated by BALADI CAP’s Senior M&E Specialist, Abeer El Gazzawi, and assisted by Junior M&E Specialist, Rafic Traboulsi.
Twenty participants from 14 different Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) attended the training which served as an introductory level course for beginners in monitoring and evaluation, and was intended to familiarize participants with the role that M&E assumes in managing projects towards results, across the different stages of the project cycle. Furthermore, the workshop also introduced participants to the main concepts and principles governing performance monitoring and evaluation, highlighting in the process the different stages, roles & responsibilities, frequencies and objectives fundamental to conducting monitoring and evaluating projects. The training workshop will pave the way for more advanced trainings in the future that will allow participants to acquire the necessary skills required for implementing M&E at the project level.
