Seedstars World, the global startup competition organized their Beirut event on September 22nd at Antwork co-working space in Beirut, Lebanon. 10 of the best startups in Lebanon pitched at the event. Speed@BDD, being the event's co-ambassador selected the mentors who coached the 10 finalists prior the pitching competition. The winner was Vision in Motion which got a free trip to both the MENA Regional Summit in Bahrain in December AND to the Global Summit in April in Switzerland, where they will pitch in front of European investors and have the opportunity to win up to $1M in equity investment and prizes Dr. Nicolas Rouhana was invited to judge at the pitching event in a local jury that combined the perfect set of skills, experience and understanding of the local market to help select the best startup to bring to Switzerland. It was a crucial decision since Seedstars might invest into this startup once it joins their global selection.
