IM Capital was privileged to participate in the 2019 Bkerke Socio-Economic Forum that was held for the second consecutive year, on August 2^nd to 4^th, 2019. This prominent event was dedicated to creating new job opportunities and to empower the new generation.

BSEF2019 featured an engaging program of presentations and panel discussions covering wide-ranging issues relevant to the Lebanese economy, from new technologies to manufacturing and agriculture, and from health to creative industry, in addition to exploring the trends which are shaping our future and investment opportunities.

Mrs. Corine Kiame, the investment manager at IM Capital, participated on a panel led by Mr. Maroun N Chammas. She discussed how the disruptive technology trends will determine the shape of our future. Mrs. Kiame shed the light on the characteristics of the Lebanese high-tech and the way to make it even more conductive to young entrepreneurs. She elucidated how to sharpen the Lebanese skills to better meet new tech market demand.

We anticipate this forum to becoming institutional, aiming to boosting economic development and strengthening connectivity between the Lebanese expansion and the homeland.
