Techwadi, a leading non-profit organization building bridges between Silicon Valley and the MENA region, and as part of their mission to foster entrepreneurship, have partnered with the Dubai World Trade Centre to plan this year’s information technology exhibition held in Dubai. The TechWadi team invited Dr. Nicolas Rouhana to attend the GITEX Technology Conference that took place on October 8th - 12th, 2017. Gitex is one of the largest trading events in the Middle East, and serves as a gateway for global brands to access the MENA region, and have created a pavilion for startups for the 2nd year in a row, and have organized a select few investors to join show as a key influencer making a splash in the global startup ecosystem, driving tech investments and with an interest in exploring the untapped opportunities Dubai and the Middle East have to offer. Dr. Rouhana participated in Mentor Clinics and 1-2-1 Meetings with more than 10 Startups from the Lebanese pavilion space over 2 days. Additionally, Speed@BDD gathered 13 Lebanese-founded startups and organized a delegation to GITEX Future Stars 2017.   More info at http://www.gitexfuturestars.com and http://speedlebanon.com/lebanese-startups-speed-alumni-gitex/
