IM Capital panelist at the MENA Guarantee Forum
The 4th International MENA Guarantee Forum was held in Beirut, Lebanon, on April 3 & 4, 2019, hosted by KAFALAT SAL, Lebanon. The Forum gathered representatives from all MENA Guarantee Institutions as well as International Specialists and Practitioners under the Theme: “The Way Forward for MENA Guarantee Institutions”.
IM Capital was invited to participate in the forum as Speaker on the session “New frontiers for the role of guarantees: extending their role from traditional loans to equity and new forms of financing”. The session started with the World Bank’s view of guarantee institutions, and then the floor was given to each panelist to briefly present their organization’s offerings of new forms of financing beyond the typical loan guarantees. Dr. Rouhana shared the experience of the equity guarantee product that IM Capital deploys to insure the capital of angel investors in Lebanon, and how it helped the creation and the development of the Seeders & LWAF angel groups.
