A training day to ten preselected candidates for the competition ”Femme Francophone Entrepreneure 2015” (French-speaking Women Entrepreneurs) was organized at Berytech Digital Park, in Beirut, on December 15, 2015. This program is organized in collaboration with AUF (“Agence  Universitaire Francophone”). The courses offered were designed to help women entrepreneurs (and some of their team members), providing them with the tools they need to formalize and develop their project and lay the foundations of their businesses. The first training on “Introduction to the Business Model Canvas” was delivered by Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, GM of IM Capital.

Ms. Krystel Khalil, Head of Communications at Berytech, then spoke about the development of a marketing plan for startups. Consultant Nicole Hamouche, a startup advisor, in turn provided training in finance, emphasizing the need to translate the company’s needs into figures rapidly. Finally, candidates were able to participate in a training on “public speaking” delivered by Mr. Syma Mati, Head of communications at the Middle East Office of the AUF and teacher CNAM Lebanon.
