IM Capital took part in the movie presentation and fundraising event for “JOUD”, a Lebanese movie in process of co-financing, which took place at the Monot Theater on Wednesday 17 of June. During this gathering, producer/director Philippe Aractingi and scriptwriter Mona Korayem presented the movie project and the many ways interested parties may invest in it.

After the international success of his third film “Héritages”, it is with great expectation that award-winning director Philippe Aractingi is announcing the launching of this new movie. Both his films “Bosta” and “Under the Bombs” have represented Lebanon at the Oscars. His filmography was awarded 36 times worldwide. Today, Philippe came up with an even newer vision and another challenge that aims to be a box office success, and hopefully a presentation during 2016 Cannes Film Festival. The Lebanese movie industry is growing up quickly and it is being acknowledge all over the world, and one of the major hindrances to the growth of this sector is access to financing. IM Capital, along with IDAL, Fondation Liban Cinema, and other stakeholders, are aiming to improve the competitiveness of the movie industry, and exploring the possibility of putting in place a fund for that purpose.
