On Thursday the 16^th of November 2017, Berytech with the financial support of the European Union organized the official launch event of THE NEXT SOCIETY project in the MENA region: Lebanon Elevator Roadshow in the presence of H.E. Christina Lassen, EU Ambassador at the Beirut Digital District. Being part of the global entrepreneurship week, this project empowers innovation and economic development across the Mediterranean and celebrates creativity, leadership, sustainable solutions and forward-looking partnership. The event started with a morning ceremony including:

• The presentation of the services delivered within Three Booster Tracks designed for entrepreneurs, cluster managers and technology transfer office managers, in the context of this project
• Live pitches of 7 finalists where IM Capital’s Investment Manager Mrs. Corine Kiame was a member of the jury. The 3 winners were Moodfit, Recyclo and 209 Lebanese Wine and were offered to opportunity to join THE NEXT SOCIETY Start-up Booster Track
• Key note speeches and a panel discussion entitled “THE NEXT INNOVATORS: Shaping the Future in the Mediterranean” (moderated by Souhail Khoury)
