The European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) Congress unites people around the potential of scientific breakthroughs, entrepreneurship, and company creation to drive sustainable economic development and greater well-being in Europe – and beyond.

This year, the EBN Congress ‘Innovation in uncertain times’ took place in Brno, Czechia, on June 14 and 15, and explored how the European innovation community should approach uncertainty as an opportunity. How to tackle it, what solutions to seek, and how to make decisions in the face of instability? Innovation is the beginning of new possibilities and a solution to crises. From this premise, Congress highlighted new technologies, business models, tools, and the best-innovation support practices to face incoming (known and unknown) challenges.

Corine Kiame, Chief Investment Officer at IM, participated in the panel discussion "Navigating Best Practices and Future Prospects for EU|BICs and Business Angel Networks" that was held on Wednesday, June 14.

In this session, Corine shared with the community her expertise and experience in creating, engaging, and sustaining successful business angel networks. The session was designed to allow its audience to comprehend, through actionable advice and the sharing of tested practices, how a successful Angel network is built, maintained, and grown, and how to future-proof networks through uncertain times.
