From Hotel de Crillon in Paris to the Bokja palace in Beirut and back, a beautiful aubusson tapestry travelled miles and was ‘bokjadized’, adding a surreal dimension to this romantic piece. Hotel de Crillon Paris gave Bokja Design Studio carte blanche to intervene with its embroidery on this gorgeous antique piece dating from the 18^th century. The fusion of the iconic pastoral scenes, and Bokja’s fearless use of colors and textures, is quite spectacular. The final piece is currently displayed in Hotel de Crillon as part of a colossal renovation.
