On Wednesday, July 30, Antoun Mouawad, VP Investment at IM Ventures, joined as a jury member for the Agrytech Batch 7 Phase 2 Selection Day at Berytech’s Innovation Hub. The event brought together experts to review and select startups for the final stage of the Agrytech Accelerator Program.

During the day, startups presented their ideas to solve problems in the agri-food sector. Each founder had three minutes to pitch their project, followed by ten minutes of questions from the jury. The panel judged the startups based on things like how well the product fits the market, how easily it can grow, the strength of the team, the level of innovation, and how well it fits the program's goals.

The event helped choose up to seven promising startups—2XPND, AgriSmart, Aquavita, Elma's, Farming Bee, Honeylicious Treats, and Peatler— to move forward in the program.
