Maher currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Finance Advisory at SaudiMed Investment Company. With over 13 years of experience in investment management and corporate finance advisory, he worked on advisory mandates for Lebanese and regional companies spanning across multiple sectors including Healthcare, FinTech, Consumer Electronics, manufacturing, petrochemicals, real estate among others.
Built strong interest in advisory and acceleration of SME’s following several assignments that informally included helping SME’s in preparations for financial transactions, and worked towards developing tools and frameworks for helping in the acceleration and transformation of SME’s in order to be ready for financial transactions. Prior to joining SaudiMed, worked at Abudawood Group, one of the prominent family groups in Saudi Arabia and a regional partner of Procter & Gamble and was responsible for private equity deals and fund investments.
Maher holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance emphasis) from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Finance/Accounting from the Hariri Canadian University.
