Dina Harake

GCNL – Executive Director
Dina Nasser Harake assumed the role of ambassador for Global Compact Network Lebanon GCNL in 2016, where she has strenuously committed herself to working towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aligned with the principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Environment, Anti-Corruption and Labor. After two years of successfully representing the GCNL within both the global network and externally vis-à-vis companies, governments and the media, Dina was appointed as the Executive Director. Willing to expand GCNL’s positive impact into the region, Dina recently assumed the position of Co-Chair of the Middle East Regional Network Council (RNC). As Co-Chair of the RNC, she contributes to reinforcing and establishing the Global Compact growth strategy of the region.

Dina oversees and executes the Global Compact Network’s strategy, manages strategic partnerships with other UN agencies, governmental bodies and international organizations and advances thought leadership in areas of corporate sustainability. For the past two years, Dina showed excellence in the oversight of different GCNL workshops, seminars, and conferences that attracts innovative solutions to the Lebanese private sector in terms of the 17 sustainable development goals, the latest being the Making Global Goals Local Business Middle East. She guides the network’s programs and initiatives related to women empowerment, youth, anti-corruption, human rights and more.

Not only is Dina an SDG pioneer, but she is also a highly driven entrepreneur with rich experience in business management in both Lebanon and abroad (Nigeria). For many years, she was a strong support to the Lebanese Diaspora and fulfilled the position of Vice President of the Lebanese Ladies Association in Nigeria. Dina is founder and co-owner of Well B Concept S.A.R.L in Beirut, but most importantly, a contributing force to her society through the channels of Beirut Marathon Association, Blessing Foundation, LLWB and Tamanna.
