One day prior to the official launch of the Lebanese Women Angel Fund (LWAF) Class of 2017-18, the group of women gathered for a second informal investment meeting on July 6 at Berytech Digital Park premises in Beshara El Khoury. The meeting started with a pre-screening session for two ventures, for an opportunity to pitch to LWAF in September. Gathering 16 women investors, the meeting then featured a pitching session by two ambitious women entrepreneurs. One of the pitches presented a project from the furniture creation industry, and the other presented an entrepreneurship academy. The next meeting is scheduled for mid-September, 2017, and will also be moderated by Mrs. Brigitte Baumann, Founder & Deal Leader at GoBeyond.
