IM Capital was invited to speak at Techne Summit 2018 on September 29th & 30th at Bibliotheca Alexandrina.  Techne Summit is an international technology entrepreneurship event that acts as a platform including the main global players in the technology industry, namely: the top international industry professionals as technology businesses, entrepreneurs and startups, investors, featuring the top technology speakers in the world, users and media representatives. The event presents opportunities and opens up possibilities for various business collaboration between parties, particularly those that pertain to grow in the Middle East and Africa region. Techne Summit is an annual event that kicked off in October 2015 at the iconic Bibliotheca Alexandrina in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria. After the success in the Investment Track in Techne Summit 2017, the 2018 track aims to create a high-profile investment track during the event that is dedicated to promoting Angel Investment in the Mediterranean & MENA startups. This track provided an opportunity to bring together investors from all over the world, angel investor groups, VCs, economic development organizations from every corner of Egypt, and other parties working to facilitate business investments (such as accelerators and incubators), featuring government officials, business executives, and other thought leaders.  The Track was through the 2-day program for advanced, intermediate & beginner private and institutional investors. Was featured as well Atelier du Miel, one of IM Capital portfolio, and the founder Marc AbuNassif was on stage explaining the social  impact of his enterprise.

Participants gained valuable insight into strategies, practical and concrete information on how to invest and grow in the region, and details on the latest economic trends and resources. This track was intended for investors and networks and thought leaders in both early-stage and scale-up investment spaces.
