5 Lebanese Startups Selected to Join Silicon Valley Program
Five Lebanese startups have been selected to take part in the 5th edition of the Silicon Valley Program, organized by MITEF with the support of IDAL. One of these companies is an IM portfolio company. This exciting opportunity will feature site visits to tech giants' HQ such as Google and Salesforce, training with renowned mentors, and participation at Techcrunch Disrupt SF, where startups will represent Lebanon at the MENA pavilion and get the chance to pitch before global investors.
This year’s Lebanese startups are involved in a variety of industries, including Edtech, Fintech, and Enterprise Tech:
- VBOUT (the IM portfolio company) is a marketing stack for small marketing teams, to help them optimize their lead generation and nurture process.
- CloudSale is created to level the playground between trading tycoons and small businesses in the hospitality industry by digitizing the hospitality supplies purchasing experience. The startup also offers innovative payment and credit solutions via partnerships with affiliate banks.
- Cherpa is an e-learning platform equipping youth with the skills needed for future jobs, from AI and automation, to cyber security and more.
- Neotic.ai SAL develops state-of-the-art AI technology for analyzing financial markets' data. It is currently selling portfolio risk management tools to hedge funds in the EU and USA.
- BeamBot is an intelligent video analytics platform that collects real-time video data and transforms it into actionable insights.
