The Darwazah Center for Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship organized its 2016 Darwazah Student Innovation Contest where 8 out of 14 qualified teams were selected as finalists to pitch their startup ideas to a jury on April 22, 2016 at the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut. As part of its mandate of building capacity and providing technical assistance to the ecosystem, IM Capital was selected to take part in the contest and Dr. Rouhana was invited as a jurist, serving in the selection of two winning teams.
