Geek Express Responds to the Blast by Giving Back to Beirut through STEM Learning
As the education sector reels from the impact of the explosion, Geek Express, one of IM Capital’s portfolio companies under the USAID-funded Middle East and North Africa Investment Initiative (MENA II), responded to the blast by giving back to Beirut in the way they know best: Empowering youth to develop essential skills through STEM learning.

Under the من_قلبي_دعم_لبيروت# relief initiative launched by IM Capital and funded by USAID, Geek Express was able to support their community by distributing 500 MAKERBOX and offering 100 free Online Coding courses to children affected by the blast, while creating 10 tutor jobs.
Geek Express’ MAKERBOX is an at-home DIY STEAM kit that teaches kids science and technology through fun and challenging inventions. Solar hats, candy dispensers, scissor lifts, and so many more.
