As part of Berytech Group, IM Capital took part of the biggest innovation & startup conference on the Mediterranean and third annual international conference: BDL Accelerate 2016 at Forum De Beirut on November 3, 4 & 5. This year, 20,000 attendees from all over the world, with over 1,000 internationals, 4,000 professionals, 3,000 entrepreneurs and 2,000 students, participated in the conference and interacted in discussions, dialogues and conferences spread over 9 platforms. The first headline speaker for “Banque du Liban Accelerate 2016” was Steve “The Woz” Wozniak, the Silicon Valley icon who founded Apple with Steve Jobs. Tony Fadell, the Lebanese Founder and CEO of Nest company bought by Google for billions of dollars was also a speaker during the event, talking about his achievements in the innovation and technology world. For 3 full days, visitors dropped by Berytech Group’s busy booth to meet experts in  startups, incubation, hosting, networking, funding and business development, and learn more about IM Capital's Matching Capital, Equity Guarantee, and Support Programs. The agenda of the booth included 15-minute workshops loaded with insights on the entrepreneurial journey with 15 of the industry’s top experts. Dr. Nicolas Rouhana gave a quickshop on building a business model and Mrs. Corine Kiame Kari conducted a quickshop on angel investing and Seeders. 15 powertalks loaded with tips and advice on how to make it in the cutthroat entrepreneurial world also took place, and 3 stars from IM Capital’s portfolio took the stage: Meacor, Taqa, and Atelier du Miel.
