IM Ventures being a member of the World Energy Council Lebanon Committee, Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, Chairman and CEO of IM, was invited to attend the 26th World Energy Congress (WEC) in Rotterdam, from April 22 to April 25, 2024, as part of the Lebanese delegation taking part in the exhibition space and event.

The WEC is the world’s longest-established energy event, as an impartial and pragmatic voice of the global energy agenda and a remarkable 100-year-old heritage. It brings together all the stakeholders in the energy transition (Governments, funding institutions, industry experts, energy leaders...) in an open dialogue exploring how to accelerate the energy transition to become a more sustainable planet, investing in knowledge, technology and infrastructure, and the transition towards a green economy and net zero.

It was an opportunity for IM Ventures to have more visibility and tap into potential funding opportunities for the SoLR& Renewable Energy Fund, as well as learning about other ecosystems and renewable energy initiatives and solutions across the globe.
