IM FNDNG participated in a panel discussion at the Lebanese Industry Expo 2026, held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Seaside Arena in Beirut. Hosted by Jubaili Bros, the panel was titled “Reducing Energy Costs with Energy Storage: Turning Your Biggest Expense into a Competitive Advantage.”

Representing IM FNDNG, Edward Melki, Senior Investment Manager, joined fellow panelists Imad Abdessater, Regional Sales Manager at Jinko ESS, and Ghada Daouk, Senior Energy Engineer and Project Coordinator at LCEC. The discussion was moderated by Rawan Koteish of Jubaili Bros.

The panel explored how solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems can help Lebanese businesses reduce operating expenses, enhance energy resilience, and strengthen their competitiveness.

Edward highlighted the importance of innovative financing solutions, particularly lease-to-own structures, in enabling businesses to adopt renewable energy technologies without significant upfront capital expenditure. He emphasized how energy savings can improve cash flow, preserve liquidity, and free up resources for reinvestment in core business operations, particularly in Lebanon's challenging financing environment.
